Special Science Course (Grades 4 to 6)
Enroll your intermediate school learner in this this Happy Homeschool special Science course. There will be twenty five to thirty sessions twice to thrice a week (depending on the course program) in the afternoons. Happy Homeschool special courses are held from 1PM onward.
Earth Science This course focuses on the basic principles and methods of Earth Science. In this course, learners will identify the various surface process on Earth and determine the different features of Earth's atmosphere. Students will also be taught about the existing landforms around the globe and the nature of the sea and air.
Children and the Environment This course introduces students to the different global, regional, and landscape scale environmental processes and systems. Throughout the course, learners will be exposed to various environmental issues, and this is where they will be identifying the common and adverse human impacts on biotic communities, soil, water and air quality. Students will also be taught how to make valuable and significant suggestions to mitigate and lessen these factors.
Zoology: Kingdom Animalia This course focuses on animal life and the nine major phyla of the kingdom Animalia. Learners will be taught about the anatomy and interrelationships of animals, including their physiology, genetics, geographic distribution, and habitats. Students will also be equipped with a sense of responsibility in preserving the nature's fauna.
Sessions are conducted virtually by Happy Homeschool teachers though there will be offline activities as well. Class size is up to fifteen students only.
Sessions will start the week of September 7 and will end in November 2020/first week of December 2020. Special courses will be offered every quarter.
